Aliso Viejo means old sycamore in Spanish, and its slogan is Experience It All. The city is also popular since it was named as one of the Top 25 Towns To Live Well by Forbes. A cool fact about the city is that in 2009, a fossil of an 11 million-year-old Paleoparadoxiid was discovered here. In addition, the city is home to an 18-hole championship golf course, which was designed by none other than Jack Nicklaus himself.
