Los Alamitos is a city in Orange County that was originally an Indian village inhabited by the Puvu Indians, before its township became a city in 1960. Nearby attractions include El Dorado Nature Center, Rancho Los Cerritos Historic Site, and Rancho Los Alamitos Historic Ranch and Gardens.
