Placentia, CA
Placentia has a population of over 45,000, which seems small but is actually a large growth considering the population was only 5,000 in the 1960s. A fast-growing community with beautiful suburban homes, stately churches, recreation areas, and wonderful schools defines this city.
Placentia is located in the northern section of Orange County, California, just next to Yorba Linda and Fullerton. Having a warm-summer Mediterranean climate makes this city an ideal place to live in. Placentia is well known for its simplicity, but mostly because of its family-oriented atmosphere. It has youth athletic programs to let children enjoy many sports. There are also annual events such as the Heritage Festival and Parade, the annual Tamale Festival, El Dorado High School Film Festival, summer concerts in the parks, Easter Egg-Citement annual activity, and Christmas Palm Tree Lighting, including visits with Santa. |
